Perawatan insisi implant ini sangat mubdah, setelah implant terpasang usahakan bekas insisi itu selalu dalam keadaan bersih dan selalu kering kurang lebih dalam 4 hari.
Selain disebutkan perawatan pada insisi implant, dijelaskan pula cara perawatan atau pemeliharaan alat-alatnya:
Trocar harus di cuci dengan air hangat dan larutan antiseptic segera setelah insersi, kemudian di disinfeksi sebelum penggunaan selanjutnya.
Desinfeksi dapat dilakukan dengan:
• Autoclave selama 20 menit
• Direbus dalam air mendidih selama 5-10menit
• Sterilisasi dingin dengan larutan germiside untuk sedikitnya 1jam.
